A technician tightening a fitting on a service call
Creator program

You film it. We cut it. You add us as a collaborator.

Free video editing for US contractors who already post. You send the raw footage, we send back something worth putting up, and the only thing we ask for is a collaborator credit on the videos we edit.

US basedHVAC firstAlready posting

No cost, no exclusivity, and nothing to sign. We are starting with a small group, so a person reads every application.

Put your name in

Four fields, and no call booked before you know what this is.

The handle or the whole profile link, either works.

We use these four things to reply to you and for nothing else. See the privacy policy.

The deal

Both sides of it, written out

An offer that only lists what you get is a pitch. This is the whole exchange, including the part where we benefit.

What you get

Three things, and none of them costs you anything.

  1. Your footage, edited

Cut, captioned, and shaped for the platform you post on. You tell us how it should sound and we work to that rather than to a house style.

  2. A referral code for Crew

Crew is our AI receptionist for home service shops. The code is yours whether or not you ever point a camera at it.

  3. A share of what the code earns

If a shop signs up through your code you are paid a share of the revenue. The rate is agreed with you in writing before you post anything, and it is not printed here because it is not one number for everybody.

Total cost to you: nothing.

What we ask

Two things, and the second is really the absence of things.

  1. A collaborator credit

Add CloseCrew as a collaborator on the videos we cut for you. That is the payment, and it is the whole payment.

  2. Nothing after that

No exclusivity, no posting quota, no say in what else you make, no rights over your footage. If you want to stop, you stop.

Total asked of you: one collaborator tag.

The process

What happens after you send the form

Four steps, in the order they happen. Nothing in here needs a contract or a platform login.

  1. 1

    You apply

The four fields at the top of this page.

  2. 2

    We reply

A DM or a short call to agree what we cut and what your code is.

  3. 3

    You send footage

However you already store it. Nobody is asking you to change how you shoot.

  4. 4

    You post it

With CloseCrew as a collaborator, and the code in your bio if you want it there.

The fit

Who we are looking for, plainly

We are starting with a small group, so this is a real filter and not a form that says yes to everyone. If it is not a fit we will tell you rather than leave you waiting on a reply that was never coming.

  1. You are in the US

That is where the shops are whose phones Crew answers, so that is where a mention is worth something to us.

  2. You work in the trades, or your audience does

HVAC first, then plumbing and electrical. If you are next door to that, apply anyway and let us make the call.

  3. You already post

This is an editing service, not a coaching program. We are not going to teach you to make videos, and we would be worse at it than you.

  4. You own what you send us

Your footage stays yours. All we need is permission to cut it.

Why

What we get out of it, since you are going to ask

We build Crew, an AI receptionist that answers the phone for HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops, qualifies the caller, and books the job onto the real schedule at nine at night when nobody is at the desk.

Contractors do not go looking for that. They hear about it from somebody they already watch. We would rather pay for editing on channels the trade actually trusts than buy ads pointed at them, and this is the cleanest version of that we could think of.

Check we are real before you send us anything

Most of this site is 60 free calculators and template builders for the trades. No account, no email gate, no trial clock. They are the easiest way to work out whether the people behind a cold message build anything.

The questions a cold message deserves

Yes. No fee, no card, and nothing deducted later. The collaborator credit is the payment, which is why we are picky about who we say yes to rather than picky about invoices.

On Instagram it is the invite collaborator option: our handle appears on the post beside yours and the post shows up for both audiences. On platforms without that feature, a tag or a mention in the description does the same job.

No. It exists if you want it. Some people will take the editing and never mention Crew, and that is still a fair trade from where we are sitting.

You do, both of them. We are editing your material, not buying it.

The kind you already make. Job walkthroughs, before and afters, the diagnostic you talked through on a roof, the piece to camera about a part nobody stocks. Short form is what this is aimed at.

That gets agreed with you rather than set on this page, because it depends on how much you shoot and how often you post. We would rather commit to a number we can keep than print one that reads well here.

They are stored so we can reply to you, and used for nothing else. Four fields, never sold, never passed on. The privacy policy has the rest of it.

Free editing, a collaborator tag, and nothing to sign.

If you are already posting and you work in the trades, the form takes less time than reading this page did. We answer either way, including when the answer is no.
